We prove a C^1 connecting lemma for pseudo-orbits of diffeomorphisms on compact manifolds. We explore some consequences for C^1 generic diffeomorphisms. For instance, C^1 generic conservative diffeomorphisms are transitive. This is joint work with Sylvain Crovisier.

This is Part II of a two-part lecture series. The first lecture will concentrate on statements of results; the second lecture will give a few choice morsels of the proof.
