I will present a conjecture for the weights of a three-dimensional, odd, irreducible Galois representation

Gal( Qbar / Q ) --> GL_3( F_p )

which is tamely ramified at p, generalising Serre's Conjecture. The predicted weights are obtained using the modular representation theory of GL_3( F_p ). This improves on a conjecture of Ash, Doud, Pollack, and Sinnott. I will give theoretical and computational evidence for its validity.
