In this talk, I will review a part of our recent preprint of paper, joint with Marcolli, which develops a generalization of the formalism of modular symbols for SL(2) entirely in terms of the "invisible boundary" of modular tower. It is continuation of our former work in particular, that on on the holography of Euclidean 2+1 black hole, but main thrust here will be number theory, rather than physics.
