We are going to show how the theory of prime ends can be used to obtain some results about the dynamics of area preserving homeomorphisms. Assuming just nondeneneracy, we are going to talk about the existence of homoclinic points and the structure of periodic points, closure of invariant manifolds and the frontier of open invariant sets.
