Abstract:
This talk will continue on the same subject as the talk of Aluffi last Tuesday. I will give more details, based on our joint work, on how one can formulate the question of whether the residues of Feynman integrals are periods of mixed Tate motives in terms of a relative cohomology in the complement of the determinant hypersurface and questions on the motivic nature of certain varieties of frames. I will also elaborate further on the theme of algebro-geometric Feynman rules, dimensional regularization of Feynman integrals, and computations in the Grothendieck ring of varieties.Date: Thursday, October 22, 2009
