Abstract:
We will describe an approach to studying certain moduli spaces related to curves, such as the moduli space of principal G-bundles, using the machinery of Beilinson and Drinfeld's chiral algebras. Chiral algebras appear prominently in two dimensional conformal field theory and are an algebraic geometric analogue of E_2 algebras. In particular, we will give a description of the category of D-modules on such moduli spaces.Date: Thursday, December 2, 2010
