Geometric group theorists study groups by studying their actions on geometric objects. If the action is sufficiently nice, the geometry of these objects can return algebraic information about the group. In this talk I will describe a space on which the group of Outer automorphisms of a free group acts nicely and study isoperimetric problems on this space.
