For a fixed prime p, we examine the ergodic properties of transformations on the p-adic numbers with respect to measures beyond Haar measure. These measures lead to examples of transformations in various orbit equivalence classes. For a fixed measure, we investigate whether or not a transformation and its ergodic iterates are in the same orbit equivalence class.
