Bunimovich constructed the first convex, hyperbolic billiard--stadium. Several generalizations of the constructions of hyperbolic convex billiards are given by Wojtkowski, Markarian, Donnay and Bunimovich. All of these billiard tables have some flat boundary pieces and hence are not strictly convex. In this talk we show that, the generalized lemon billiards, being strictly convex, are hyperbolic. This provides the first class of strictly convex hyperbolic billiards. This is a joint work with L. Bunimovich and H.-K. Zhang.
