Abstract:
A subshift is a closed set of sequences on a finite alphabet and invariant by the shift. An automorphism is an homeomorphism commuting with the shift map. Actually, it is a cellular automaton. It follows that the set of the automorphisms preserving a subshift is a countable group generally hard to describe. We will present in this talk a survey on different restrictions on these groups for zero entropy subshifts.Date: Tuesday, January 30, 2018
