Supporting Inclusive Research Environments at Northwestern (SIREN)

This workshop is aimed at helping faculty think about factors (e.g., micoraggressions) that impact fostering inclusive climates for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in a research setting. We will present data that demonstrates the relevance of this work, and explore concrete ways to create inclusive research environments. This work is funded through an NSF-AGEP (Alliances for Graduate Education and the Professoriate) grant to support faculty in creating inclusive research environments at Northwestern.
