We found new algorithms to calculate the topology entropy and the Artin-Mazur zeta function for certain families of one parameter polynomials or rational functions on $\mathbb Q_p$ or their finite extensions, which can potentially be used to study the number theoretic properties of these entropies. This is a collaboration with Hongming Nie.
