The Kolmogorov-Arnold-Moser theorem concerns the stability of invariant tori for Hamiltonian flows, or in other words, the existence of quasiperiodic solutions to ODE's and PDE's. We present a new proof of the KAM theorem based on some ideas that have their origin in quantum field theory.
